Vor 20 Jahren feierte der Film Wholetrain Premiere in den deutschen Kinos. Anlässlich dieses Jubiläums zeigen WON ABC und NEON eine Ausstellung im Urban Spree.
Am 6. November 2026 findet die Vernissage zur Ausstellung statt, die dann noch bis 28.11.2026 dort zu sehen ist.
Urban Spree Galerie presents “WHOLETRAIN 20“, an exhibition of original artworks by WON ABC and NEON in light of the 20th Anniversary of the graffiti movie WHOLETRAIN by Florian Gaag (2006) and on the occasion of the release of the 4K remastered version of this praised and award-winning graffiti film classic.
The Vernissage will be held at Urban Spree on Friday, November 6th (18:00-22:00), in presence of the 2 writers and the film´s director.
The 4K version of WHOLETRAIN will celebrate its Berlin premiere at Babylon Kino in Mitte on 23.11.26 at 19:30. An exclusive 20th anniversary limited vinyl edition of the WHOLETRAIN Original Soundtrack will be available at the exhibition´s opening.
WHOLETRAIN tells the story of a crew of four graffiti writers —David (Mike Adler), Tino (Florian Renner), Elyas (Elyas M’Barek in his first major role), and Achim (Jacob Matschenz)—who have dedicated themselves to the scene with its own hierarchies, values, rules, and codes.
WHOLETRAIN delves deep into the secret world of graffiti culture, serving as both an emotionally gripping drama and a multi-layered portrait of its protagonists, who operate in the shadows.
The writers who painted the graffiti for the movie were originally WON ABC, NEON, CEMNOZ, PURE TFP, CIEL and MONS.
